Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

It's possible. Not familiar with Wilco. I only have buchheits and orschlens around me. You can always contact the farm store u got them from and ask what hatchery they order from... For example I know buchheits orders from Ideal Poultry. That way u can figure out what hatchery they are from and find out if they sell bantam ee. From the pics they don't look too small. But then again those are pics. And ya can't really tell size from pics. Maybe if u get a pic of them next to ur other chicks of the same age.. ?

I'm feeding them fermented and dry (free choice) Scratch and Peck starter, meal worms, and lots of greens with free choice grit.
Some chicks can just grow slower. What are you feeding them?

I remember being shocked at how small they were when I saw them. They are healthy now, when I brought them home they all had clear diarrhea and Julia was missing a whole toe her foot was infected. I don't mind if they are bantams, I've been wanting to add a few to my little flock :) I just keep expecting them to be bigger. My Rocks and Orps were significantly bigger and all feathered out by 7 weeks. However, they were raised in Jan/Feb maybe that makes a difference?
I agree!

Was there a big size difference when you got them as chicks? Even as chicks, bantams are significantly smaller. They look healthy; as long as they eat well and are active they should be fine. Bantam eggs are cute too!

Ok I fixed the video.
Def not a crow. Sounds just like my girls when they start "talking" to each other or me.

Are Easter Eggers just mixed with some breed that lays colored eggs and others? She could be..

An EE chicken is any cross of chicken With the blue egg gene. However EE can lay any color egg. Blue, green, Brown, cream, pink etc. EE also usually carry the pea comb gene. Some believe the pea comb is linked to blue egg laying. However I know that not to be true. As I have a beautiful all black EE with a pea comb and beard that lays me a cream colored egg. Most EE also have beards/muffs
