Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I think I should have posted my ee sexing question here (or maybe even started a new thread) rather than post in the EE Braggers thread. But could the experts pretty please go here and check my nearly 5 week old EE chicks? Mine is post 6309. Thanks a TON!

Macaroni looks like a cockerel. My boy Erastus looked identical. The others look like pullets.

Erastus grew into this at 8 weeks, I got rid of him after that. My family prefers no roosters. Note the same red in the shoulders.

See, I don't get this "oh yeah, you can see it in the shoulders" thing you guys talk about. I am totally blind to it, lol. The thing that made me suspicious, is that on the other EEs, the head and hackles match, and there's a distinct line between that and the rest of the body. With macaroni... There isn't.

Well DANG. I ordered 12 sexed pullets. 1 didn't survive the trip (barnevelder), and one died a week later (welsummer). I think a loud noise startled them and they piled. So out of the 10 left, I have a black copper Marans who is turning out to be a roo, and now macaroni. So much for getting eggs from 4 dark eggers and 4 Easter eggers. :(

Are EE Roos more likely to be nice- non human aggressive because they're mixed breeds? I have a six year old and I don't want to have to worry about him getting attacked. I don't know anything about Marans but this one refuses to be handled, just like my PR roo who attacked me every time I walked out the door. And my GL Wyandotte roo, died two days ago. He was the SWEETEST thing, I am going to miss him so much. I was hoping to incubate some of "his" eggs. But now that I have two possible Roos, I don't think I can do that.

Sorry for the rant, I guess I'll play it by ear and hope they don't turn mean. I dont even know if should keep both of them. Thank you for your help. He is beautiful, and maybe he'llbe a nice boy. He is already very sweet.

If nothing else, I have contributed to this little science experiment. :p

Easter Eggers technically are as mixed as any other hatchery bird, pretty sure the stock has always been mostly the same the past several decades, they're just "mutts" in the sense that they don't breed true but anyway, on topic, Easter Egger roosters can be unpredictable when from hatchery stock. And that goes with any breed from hatchery stock. Because they don't breed for temperament I have indeed heard of aggressive, mean, or dumb EE roosters as well as really sweet ones and great "gentlemen." If your rooster is sweet at age 6 months chances are he won't change. They're aggressive early on, however some do escalate from warnings to full on attacks through age.

So, if he's already sweet, no worries.

Any one want to take a guess at this one?
I was told 'Americanna'..... But a very pretty EE is just fine with me.
She/he is still pretty young - I think about 2-3weeks
