How old is this one?
I would say that Muffin's legs are green, but I don't have a lot to compare too. That's funny that Muffin might be a cockrel, since it was the only one I was sure was a pullet. Muffin is super cuddly and always wants to lay on my lap. I didn't think roos would be like that, but these are my first chicks. We are still building their coop outside, so they are temporarily housed in my basement with the treadmill and my book collection (as you can see). Can't wait to get the coop finished! Here are more pictures of them. Peanut Butter![]()
Muffin and Nutella
Muffin
This one of Muffin is a little blurry, but you can see that there is starting to be a slight peach colored patch on the tops of the shoulders.(My daughter named her btw)
Thank you again for your feedback. I find this whole experience somewhat addicting. Thank goodness our coop will hold up to 14 because I'm not sure six will do! So I've been looking at Muffin some more and the color on her wings is a light peach. I really hope it doesn't mean she is a he. She is the fluffiest bird and the first to get all her feathers. Peanut butter (the black and white) took longer to feather out but isn't crowing yet. This waiting game is stressful.
So I'm suddenly worried about my white EEs gender. She is ten weeks and up until a couple days ago I thought she was 100% pullet. I'd love some feedback on my newest pics of her. I'm concerned that she is looking like a roo.
Also, here's today's picture of my mystery gender unnamed EE. S/he is starting to get the rest of the wing feathers but no red. Also the comb is reddish but not nearly as big as my EE roo Carson who is also ten weeks. Can I still hope for pullet on this one?

Far left and far right look like pullets. Blk/wht to the left looks like a cockerel because the wing feathers are starting to go white, losing the partridge pattern. Blk/wht in the center is questionable, so watch to see if it is also tending toward white wings. They change so much at this age, it is hard to be sure.
