From what I have seen and read salmon breast tends to be female rusty reds on shoulders more likely male.

Another shot from above Here are pictures of Izzy and Cony from this morning. They are twelve weeks old now. Let me know if you all are still seeing pullets. Having posted that I think Izzy is a pullet, I of course saw every roosterish trait this morning

Hubby thinks we should try to keep him. We have what I think is a female Pekin who "talks" quite loudly when she sees us - is a rooster much noisier than that? How much do they crow?
