I see classic rusty red roo shoulders.

My pullet-roo is my sweetest bird as well I'm not going to give up on him/her until he/she starts crowing, but I'm browsing for new homes in preparation for the worst.

Figured it out! Any guesses on these guys, not sure if they even qualify as EEs, the black and grey are obviously mixes with the feathered feet and poofy head

Would you say that an EE that was a rooster would have at least the beginnings of a more prominent comb than a hen of the same age? They are 7+ weeks

Usually males have development in the comb at 7-8 weeks. But, be careful about comparing EEs since they can have mixed combs. This can make two look a bit different just based on that. You're looking for growth and reddening.
