Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Coming up on 13weeks. So far I have not heard anyone crowing or seen any excessive fighting.
I'm guessing pullet then.

At 13 weeks they should be showing color and comb growth if they are roos.

11 weeks?? I'm going to guess that they are all pullets. .I don't see any bright red wide combs in there yet. I love the white one so pretty.

Wish I had gotten so lucky. I had to rehome my 2 EE's this year because they turned out to be roos.

Thank you! Her name is Gloria and she is my favorite.

I thought that she was probably a girl, but I had someone say 100% boy and others say 100% girl. She does not even really have a comb at all. Only a pink area where it should be that is raised like 1 mm. Is that normal?
Yes normal. :)
Having some questionable genders popping up in my flock. Do irredescent feathers always mean a male? To my not so well trained eye these chickens display no other obvious signs of being roosters except that some of their large (rounded) tail feathers are getting a bright gleen to them. Their combs and waddles are still pale and small, their legs aren't exceptionally large and all their feathers seem to be rounded despite their pointy patterns.

This is StarBurst, who I am REALLY hoping is a pullet.

Iridescent feathers are normal on girls as well, but if you had a for sure boy there is a big difference between the two. Boys are very shiny where girls are more bland.

That is a girl for sure :)
Those are all pullets 100% on that.

Bummer on the Roos! Every time we've ever hatched eggs, they've been little cockerels, sure would be nice if they could all just get along! Thanks for your input on our EEs, new to determining b/g with those guys!
