Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Thanks so much for the responses, can anyone tell me about this comb? What type is it? Is such a dark comb norma

l? And the baldness? Also not much feathering on the face. Any guesses on what breed might be in there?

My girl is the pretty traditional EE girl color. Don't know how to tell chicken ears, LOL. Her comb is a modified rose comb I believe.

Pic from about a month ago, she is the one in the back. The other two we lost to a raccoon.

EEs can lay any color egg, truly, but I find they tend NOT to lay the true brown of, say, a red sex link. I have loads of EEs and they lay shades of blue, green, and cream, so a lighter shade of cream may look almost white.

I've had EE's before, but this one is throwing me off. We were told that she is a hen when we got her as a buddy for our one rescued chick from our first hatch. But now that the pointed feathers have appeared, I started to wonder. She-or he- is about 14 weeks old. Thanks!
