Looks like a pullet to me. The comb is small and pale for 9wks, and the coloring, while patchy, is gold and not red.
90% girl because those are pullet colors but not sure if those are saddle feathers by the tail... which would make it male...

They are a bit too young to be sure. Nothing is indicating cockerels yet, but they can change so much during this stage. Can you post some new pics in a week or two?
I guess i would need to see the tail feathers on both of them.No spotty had splotchy pattern. Black and white isn't always a male color and the pattern is even. It's a silver duckwing instead of the usual gold.

Its my first time seeing a pattern like that in the tail area usually they are even throughoutThose aren't even remotely saddle feathers.
