Looks like a cockerel with the comb and thick legs. Mine looked like that and it is a cockerel for sure now.

You are correct that hens will also jump and raise their hackles at each other to determine pecking order. The chick you have pictured I suspect is a roo based on the large comb, but I would give it some more time![]()
Does the salmon have to be just on the breast? I'm seeing lots of salmon coloring coming in on the other two black/white chicks. Wow, they are really growing too!!
The black and white one looks like a pullet to me.Here's some new pics of our guys/gals. Pretty sure of all but the b/w fella and the gold fella are girls. The b/w fella just acts way too different (also have 2 other definite roosters in with him) and the gold one seems to be getting patchy on the wings. Thoughts? Pullet #1![]()

The white and black one is the only roo, all others are pullets.
