Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

@Seya , The yellow and black bird looks to be a pullet. The white and yellow bird also appears to be a pullet. At least for now.

@shalynnbrothers , It's a little too early to tell, but I'm leaning toward rooster on that one.

Quote: It's very hard to tell from photos. Natural, indirect light is best. Shadows are covering the part i needed to see. On buff birds, the males will get darker coloring on their wings, but it is subtle. The overall look is a female, but those wattles coming in are throwing me. Not used to seeing those on EEs! Can you post new pics in a week? I am guessing pullet, but it is more guess than know.

Based on these photos, the comb does not look pink and the color pattern is fairly regular, so looks more like a pullet....  so far.  Things can change rapidly at 6 weeks.  Any idea why the comb was pink in earlier pics?  Were they hot?

I have no idea! If anything they should have been cooler because I took them in the early morning. Perhaps it was just the lighting? I'm not sure. In person the comb looks orange.

Okay, I'm pretty new to chicken keeping (last year) and recently bought 9 EE's straight run from a breeder. Trying to determine if they are pullets or cockerels. I posted a new thread earlier before I found this one. I'm thinking I have a least 4 roo's so far. And of course, they are my favorite's. I tried to take pics of them all earlier, but ended up with group shots, then I took individual ones later with hubby's help, but he didn't let me get good body shots. Can you guys help me? They are 6 weeks old.

I think one on left is a roo.

same chick as above. better shot.

I think the 2 in front are roo's (but very front one's comb is paler)

The bird on the left is 100% Cockerel, the bird on the right looks like a pullet.

The bird in the front left looks to be a cockerel (though I'm not 100% sure) and the bird on the right is also a cockerel (as stated above) All the others appear to be pullets as far as I can see.
