My two EEs are 7 weeks old this week...I’m hoping pullets! The comb on Nala (the black and white) has always been more of a pale pinky skin color than yellow. Amelia is definitely becoming the leader of the flock, she’s a bossy little lady.

Your gold bird looks like a pullet, both in comb and feather pattern.
The silver bird is harder to tell. It is showing a more patchy feather pattern (solid white area on wing) and the comb is rather wide and lumpy. Both of these things tend to be male traits. Yours is not showing definite cockerel traits at this point... more like "could be" cockerel traits. If Nala's comb starts turning bright pink or red in the next week or so, then I would expect a cockerel. There are a lot of changes going on at this stage, so you will have to wait a little longer to be sure one way or the other.

I’ll definitley keep an eye on her, I’m really hoping she turns out to just be a sneaky pullet. I’ve seen some other posts about the black/white EEs being hard to sex up until they crow or lay, and a couple pullet ones looked very similar to mine with the comb. I’m really hoping since he comb hasn’t gotten bigger it will be ok...fingers crossed!

I’m back at it again questioning one of my 16 week old ee’s. This ones at least 1/3 larger than all the other ladies and has a very dominant andfriendly personality. Combs not what I would expect from a cockerel but her neck feathers are getting really flowy. All the other girls are pretty short and fat. Any ideas?

100% pullet. Males don't have patterning like that.

Yes, a pullet. EEs are some of the largest and heaviest birds in my mixed flock.

My EEs LOOK large, until they moult, then they look like little rats They are definitely not heavy.

Depends on the age. How old are they?
#5 has a lot of red in the comb and big wattles compared the bird in front... if they are the same age, #5 is a cockerel.
#7 has a very patchy feather pattern which usually means a male.
Unsure about #3. It is very pretty, which usually means a cockerel. Need the age when the pic was taken.

They are 6 weeks and all the same age.
