Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I think it's a cockerel as well. But until he starts crowing or laying he will live with us. If I have to find him a new home that means I get a new chick I set a limit of 10 birds no more no less.

ClintonChickens, has your rooster been in my pen??? Check this one out,my gut tells me Fernie Mae is a Bernie Mac!

Well it will be 15 weeks old on Saturday. His brother has been crowing for the last 3 weeks but I have not heard a peep out of this one.

Yep, that's totally a cockerel. he's probably not crowing because he's afraid of being thrashed by his father or his brother for trying.

I figured as much, but I sure wanted to be wrong! A dear elderly friend at church wanted me to name one of the chicks after her. OOPS!!

Thanks for the help!
