All of the EEs are 100% girls, based on color.
They were supposed to both be pullets. We were just scared because they look so different. The first one is partridge or darkwing duck, right?
Any idea what the second's coloring is?
Yup... and I just got rid of a mean production red rooster with no desire to ever get another roo lol. I'll try and get a video of him crowing tomorrow morning and post it on here if I can. I really wanted 4 girls. Oh well I guess i can wait till next year to get a few more EE girls.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that beautiful Lucinda is a handsome Lucas. I hope he's a nice roo for you. I'd offer to take him off your hands if I didn't already have a cockerel in my "sexed pullet" group.

Oh no! I have one turning into this color and her comb is bigger then my other EE. I thought the orangey colors were all female.lol. So sorry about your boy.
If mine is a boy, I'm breeding him with my frizzle before rehoming. *sigh*
I might leave him in that little grow out pallet coop/bachelor pad that I made when I move the little girls in with the rest of the flock. I definitely don't want him in with my girls. The last rooster I had on top of being mean and aggressive toward me he left his 4 girls with bald backs and cuts under their wings. The worst of which was 3 inches by 3 inches. It's just not worth the aggravation. I might breed him next year with my 2 EE girls and possibly some of my brown egg layers... then I'll sell him. I think I'll name him Buddha lol.
