Seems like there are always lots of EE boys. Maybe it's a genetic thing. Got two sexed chicks this spring and one was a roo. Guy at the feed store said the sexed "Ameraucana" (EE) chicks had more cockerels than any other sexed breed. I still like them, though.

I have one easter egger out of my 3 Chicks. Now they are 11 weeks old and I'm questioning gender once again!!
my next question is I've been asked what color she/he is, what would you call this coloring? and is it blue or black?
What are your opinions

Definitely a pullet. Not sure the proper term for the color, though, so I'll leave that to the experts. If you're really interested you could post her pictures in the genetics section.

This is Souffle, my 12 week old EE who started silent crowing last week. Now, I'm wondering if this "Miss" just might be a "Mister" instead.  I've looked at most of the pix in this thread and tried to figure out the differences but, I just don't see them clearly enough to be certain.

Sorry to post links but, I kept getting error messages when trying to upload the images :(
