Easter egger??

They actually look more like silky Ameraucanas not polish they are very pretty. Too bad they don’t lay anymore what cute babies they would make!
If they are almost a year old.. does that mean that they only laid eggs for 4-6 months? They might not be laying because it is winter/less day light. Kinda surprised that young of birds not laying anymore.

I was thinking because it’s due to winter time and also owner said that their dogs was bothering them a lot (that is why she got rid of chickens) so I think they were stressed too.

I also read that Easter egger tend to start laying later than other birds. Owner said she got them last February or March.

They laid blue eggs.

Chickens do not lay when they're stressed. They'll probably start laying nice blue eggs for you come spring. Time will tell. good luck to you and your new hens!

They look like polish splash Easter egger, which Ive never seen or heard of. I have a splash Easter egger or olive egger that lays green eggs but she doesn’t have the head feathers like that. I love mixed breed chickens They always look so cool And I love trying to guess what breeds they are mixed with.View attachment 2959429
