To start with, the EE babies are notoriously hard to sex apparently even for hatcheries. About a week ago I bought 2 young "pullets" (hatched 5/28) from someone in my town who bought more than they needed sexed hens from Cackle, which claims only 80-85% accuracy for this breed.

I picked out one EE along with one BO. Now that the little ones have cooed and cuddled their way into my heart, I'm afraid "she" might just be a "he" after all. Since I live in the city, that's a hard NO.

I know they're still a little young for being definitely sure (just 10 weeks old, bless) but what are your best guesses about Barracuda? I'm leaning 65% chance of ♂️ vs 35% ♀️.

That's female specific coloring, you can accurately guess gender from 6 weeks for most birds.
I'm still learning. Please explain the specific coloring for Easter Eggers. When I was choosing my babies, there were a number of colors and shades to choose from in the selection they'd corraled for me.
For instance, one I'd liked in the pictures (at 8 weeks) was a pretty lavender white and looked very petite and girly but by 9 weeks, on the day we'd arranged for me to come choose, it's comb had turned red and was growing large so they didn't even bother showing that one to me. 🤷‍♂️
Here's some pictures of their mixed flock of youngsters so you can see the variety I choose from.

That's pretty grim.
Easter eggers have no set colors but that ones color is partidge, if it was a male, it would be patchy, red, green, black and white.

Even at 10 weeks old? I'm just nervous because the tail feathers seem to be coming in curly. What percentage certain would you say you are?
