easter egger...

I know nothing about roosters because we aren't supposed to have them. I don't even know a **** thing as far as how often they try to mate, how they are in the flock pecking order ( he's bullying lately and we thought ' she' was trying to climb the ladder) NOTHING!! HELP!

and holy cow you all are right. I googled a blue wheaton and that is him dead on. if I had know he was a blue wheaton I wouldnt have had any question of sex!

Too bad you can't keep him, he's a beauty. I think if you Craigslist him as a blue wheaten Ameraucana (check that comb, make sure the legs are slate, etc.) I think you'll get some takers. I'd personally ask $15 for him (and maybe come down from that after I get an offer).

If you think you might try to keep him, know he is his own pecking order. Roosters have their own pecking order which is above the hens' pecking order. Right now he's telling the hens that he's the boss of them and that they'll get punished if they don't do as he says. He may start chasing them around and forcibly mating them to remind them that they have to submit. Not pretty to watch, but if he's a good boy and they accept him he should calm down and start dancing for them before mating, etc.

legs are definitely slate. super dark. what do I look for in the comb? We want to keep him if he stays quiet but don't want a ton of baby chicks running around. we got hens to eat the eggs, not breed lol

That bird will crow his heart out. If it was sold to you as a pullet you need to contact the seller and exchange him for a hen.

Yup, helpful. He's an Easter Egger, not an Ameraucana. That's a modified pea comb, not a true pea. So, if you want to be honest, you can't sell him as an Ameraucana. I agree with donrae, see if you can exchange him for a hen.

I also still think you can sell him on Craigslist. Sell him as a blue wheaten Easter Egger for fairly cheap. Someone will probably want him for a flock rooster. There won't be enough meat on him to butcher, probably. My EE boys dressed out at 3 pounds each at 14 weeks this summer (grumble grumble). But I did give away an EE cockerel to a guy that I met in TSC--he was buying sexed pullets, but wanted a flock rooster, too. So it might all work out.
