They may be EE... I realized there is at least 1 hatchery selling clean faced EE and I guess some people even prefer it.

Today as I was getting them ready to go out and play Sweet Pea was down in the bottom of the cage trying to Crow, how sad I was. Next thing I know odd ball come running up to her bucked up sweet pea ran away and odd ball tried to crow. Mr. John snow jump down from the top of the cage landing a top oddball and took lead crowing really well and muffin was too busy feeding their face to play so with much Ado I know for sure I have three roos with muffin still in question hen or roo too....

I also think Muffin is a roo. His legs are soooo thick! Zero doubt in my mind.

He is still too young to see saddle feathers. Also, they will start to do things at different ages... so just wait, he will crow to.

Nothing shameful about letting them go to good homes (like mine as an example), where they will be treated with care through their very last breath and feed somebody's family in the process.

I don't mean that to be hurtful in any way. I know some people just can't fathom it. And as much as we do not like the process, we are honored to know where our food comes from. It makes you just a little more humble... and A LOT more considerate of your animal protein intake... to say the least! We eat a lot more veggie dishes now.

I am a house wife, me and my 17 year old daughter do it. And the boys are calm, not in fear of their life before we proceed. No horror stories at our house.

However... Awesome Sauce!!! if you can find a home for 4 boys!

Maybe start your new adventure with sexed pullets.

Still no guarantees... In one batch of 4 I still got 2 boys.

But that was ONLY 1 time out of the many.
