That's so cool! I have 1 of my chicks rides its' mama around on her back... it is so amusing to see.Some roos stay sweet and tame forever though! I had an EE rooster named Cowboy for years (a rescued chick raised by my broody hen) Even after he had grown, had his "wifey" and raised a batch of chicks of his own (such a great dad too! He let his chicks ride around on his back and call them to any bug he'd find) he would still come in the house, jump up on the sofa onto my lap and want cuddles.
But I've also had a brat named Giovanni that attacked me any time I turned my back lol.
9 weeks is still young for crowing, most of the time.
Muffin is a cockerel.
