Have 7 Easter eggers here. About 9/10 weeks old.
One I’m certain is a roo. 3 are certainly pullets.
But these 3.. I’m not too sure. I suspect the brown one is a roo since it’s been play fighting with the other one. But the comb has me wondering.
Hard to get pictures of the black ones since they hate me.

EEs come in any color, so that still works. He is a boy, though! The first black chick is a pullet, and I'm guessing that the second black chick is a cockerel. More pictures later!

Hope so! If that’s the case I might just have 2 Roos out of 7. Seems like a chicken lottery. :D
They’re the only ones that seem to be behaving like Roos too.
Disclaimer: This is my first time owning chickens.
Cool about the breed speculations. Imma look that up :)

In the world of chickens, 'friendly' cockerels are the ones who are BOLD and UNAFRAID. That's not actually friendliness! Many such boys mature into unafraid attack birds, so do be careful. Many of us 'old fogies' who have had chickens for decades, raise our cockerels to respect our space, rather than trying to make pets of them. Handle andhand feed your pullets, if you like, but keep those boys respectful. :old
