I have 1 EE. SHe is my first bird. Very quiet and docile. She may not be very typical of the breed. Her original owner needed to find a home for her because she wasn't fairing well in the flock. She was lowest in the pecking order. She is very sweet; generally quiet and talks when I visit with her, a soft little noise, like cooing, chicken style. She hangs out with the ewes for company . . and oh, yeah, and steals the spilled grain! I just lover her!

my two EE's are quiet, All of my chickens are not that noisey, with the exception of two banties i just got, they are so freakin noisey
