Judging starts at 9am again, right?
So how about we meet at 11am. That gives everyone time to get the birds cooped in & sell or buy a few before they're all gone. Sound good?

sounds good to me. 11 am in front of big rooster by building entrance

I think I'll try to get out to this one again... just such a long drive! I need some BLRW pullets and didn't see many the last time... I have only 22 chickens... GEEZ!

Hey stang, i have a blue version of that black cochin mix you got from me. Blue with coppery red on her neck/chest. Super pretty. Do you still have the girls?

I will be at the november show! With something.......if nothing else, to sell babies. I'm keeping a few hens but planning on doing some big ol butt trims so I can breed them instead.

wow pages of informatiion

Of course! I swear, the broodiness is something only you have... Mine both went broody for like one month and that was it... hahaha! I wanted them to go broody so then I didn't have to use my incubator and brooder to hatch me some langshans and never happened, they're just laying eggs

Just to throw it out there---do any of you guys have/know of anywhere I can get the breeds in my signature around here? I have been dying to get some polish, I guess anything out of the ordinary.

I have a super broody mottled cochin for sale....you can "make" her broody, just put her in a brooder with a bunch of eggs and she will go broody withina few days to a week. Sure you don't want to buy her? LOL

I think its just something in the water here. I had a production red go broody twice now.....my leghornX girls all would go broody regularly. Plus the usual suspects. Forgot to collect eggs for a few days, that seems to trigger them. I'm bad about collecting eggs daily here

I have a Black SL hen and RIR hen that constantly go broody here, which is wonderful. I haven't had an hatches though, I think I get too impatient or worry over them too much. Thus why I'm getting an incubator. Too AR for much anything else. My G Laced cochin still refuses and I would have pegged her for the broody one.
