That's the physical address so you can mapquest.

I am bringing 10 showbirds and a horrendous amount of sales birds.
The sale birds are very young silkies, showgirls & d'Uccles. Although young, most of them have been without a light for a while, except for last night when 6 got a light because it was butt-hugging cold....

Officially bringing ....

to show, 2 bantam Dels, 2 bantam white wyandottes, 2 grey calls

to deliver, 6 Delawares, 2 or 3 BRs

and to sell, 2 or 3 "cracker jacks", 2 more Delawares, 2 bantam white wyandottes.... and anything else I may have room to bring LOL!!! Boy chickens add up fast....

Daphne, I probrably won't bring the OEGB unless you want them... if you don't want them, I rather just keep them... love their personalities

I wanted to take a pair of bantam barnevelders, but the stupid boy has shed he tail feathers and looks stupid right now... oh well. They get along, so it's no rush. Just thought I would give someone the oppertunity to breed them like I have been doing now for a couple years.

Thank you wegotchickens!! That's what I needed

If I have room I have several I would love to bribe you with. I have a single comb SLW that will need to go and two JERK orps that I wouldn't mind saying "bye" to... I'd love to bring them all, I just need to see how many I can squeeze in a crate.

Is everyone bathing their chickens? I can't bring myself to do it with it being so stinking cold out. Whatever poop is there after I take a wet wipe to them will have to stay.

My blue orps that I'm showing are really young. I'm hoping I can get around the "too heavy for type" rule with them not being anywhere close to full grown. The only problem is that their hackle feathers aren't all the way in...

That's awesome!! I don't know that I'm ready, yet. I was going to try a processing facility so I wouldn't associate my chickens with the meat in the package, but I can definitely see this being step two in my becoming-a-real-woman-that-can-slaghter-her-own-food plan.

I put the contact info in my phone. Thanks!

I didn't even wash feet & butts because it was so cold. Even in the sunshine it wasn't warm enough to give them a place to dry and I'm not 'allowed' to bring birds into the house.

So, I'll be baby-wipe bathing as I pop them into the show cages.....

I didn't bathe anything either. I will use baby wipes in the morning. Not expecting anything special with any of these birds, they are all too young to be showing.

I'm bathing... but not giving it my all....

I WILL NOT BE SHOWING WHITE CHICKENS AGAIN!

Ok. break over... got to go get globs of poop off of a white back

ETA that they are in the house... so no one thinks I would soak a chicken in this weather and put them out again... besides, the white chickens sleep under the darker chickens so they can have brown backs anyways.
