I have been told not to use blue on pointed white as you risk lighter points and light toenails (white toenail = DQ). The pointed colors are all judged together in Lionheads, so they seem to like the darker points better.
I usually use Siamese Sable on Pointed Whites myself......as I prefer shadeds. But Black is second choice for me....and I have a pointed white doe currently bred to a (really really nice) black buck. All my other pointed whites are bred to my siamese sable bucks.
