Did we talk about a d'argent buck?? I knew you had a doe that you thought was going to be a bad mom. Do you have a D'argent doe also? Going to breed them? I would really be interested in some babies from that!!!!! I'll cross them into some New Zealand blood to get a bit more size and try and keep the nice fur. Now that we are talking more than "snack rabbits" you have my full attention LOL

PS. You do know that every animal has enough brains to tan their own hide? Your such a young thing, you may have never heard that. If not, research tanning with brain matter (natural tannin)

i may not have enough brains to tan my own hide.. as it took me a sec, and second read to get what was ment. ive heard of this to in past, but wouldnt remember how to go about it.

Am heading out of town again tomorrow...I will try to call you in the AM before I loose signal to find out if you heard anything on pavilion for picnic. Im not sure I dialed right? I left a message the other day, did you get it?
Sorry could not make it to 1st Monday....I ended up all night with Harley force feeding him pedialite to hydrate him. He is all better now but I was getting a bit scared for a while...not sure what he got a hold of.

I told everyone I lost the fight with my wife for her new long haired taco bell dog...here are a couple pics.

What is this about a brooder Stang wants?

I am also throwing around selling an old broody hutch thing i have. Its another "not fancy" but functional.

It is MUCH more weathered than it was in this pic. It is solid bottomed on top and hardware cloth on the bottom level. Very top is mesh, so you could set a brooder lamp on there. Also, it is hinged and flips up.

Well the 1st monday sale was scarce at best this time, was snowing pretty good while i was there, the lady that normally collects the fee was telling the people who were set up it was free today though. Mostly was rather thin ponies and some decent muscovie ducks.
I am super excited that I will have two white call drakes in about two days now, so will have young birds from them for sale this fall if all goes as planned

I may not be able to get it then. With gas prices as high as they are I will end up paying in gas what I would save on a new one. Sorry, I thought you were closer

Sounds good as long as we don't plan picnic day of major show.

Could charge like $1 per item or something, I am ok as long as I'm making the trip for myself to use my own gas, now that I have an SUV can take stuff places as long as it fits in the back! Which means Snozzle, if you wanted to get the incubator I could get it to you at the picnic if you go. If I can go!
@bairo - the d'argent was free, he had a ripped ear and I'm friends with the girl and her mom because they raise mini lops as well. I told them I'd probably just eat him, but depending on how Nella (my REW mini lop doe does with next litter, I can get you started with him and the mini lop). He's super cute and was out of a good sized litter! I only took him because they asked me if I wanted one and I told them if it was free (because I didn't think I'd get one for free and thats my answer to anything I don't need to buy and she took me seriously), and so they told me they had the buck with the missing chunk. I was acctually offered 3 rabbits from free that weekend, only took the creme though. Acctually come to find out the mini lop doe I just got I don't have to pay for, she told me happy birthday!

@Nella - I think bairo meant bator, not brooder! I've got plenty of brooder stuff, I even have large outdoor hutch.

Brain storm.

1. Stang is fairly close to nella
2. Stang wants to go get brooder
3. Stang is coming to picnic
4. Everyone buying something from Nella is coming to picnic
5. Stang could probably make enough delivery money from all of us to pay for half her brooder?? I know I will give a few dollars or 5 or 8 or whatever it takes not to drive to west Knox.

That is a nice brooder though! I just spent all the large amounts of money I'm willing to spend this month! I bought 2 mini rex and a large carrier at one show! I think I've got a spending problem

I also want to set up my bunnies with a home built flush system for ease of cleaning! Home depot here I come!
