That chick is super adorable!!!

Question....I have 2 not-laying yet black silkie hens, and two red showgirl roos. The combo will lead to more SGs if they ever start laying, correct? I thought I read somewhere it was a specific combo, like the roos had to be SG or the hens had to be SG.....can't remember.

Dying to start my incubator back up. I'm hoping to get it going by Friday. I bought a pretty hen that lays olive eggs....have her with a gold cuckoo maran....curious about how their babies will turn out/what color they may lay.

Making chicken n dumplins have one of the DP roosters from the freezer in the crock pot, will make a great meal tomorrow! Still have the blue laced red wyandottes for sale if anyone is interested!

Bairo - wish caponizing was easier, then I could do that to all my non meatie baby roos. Think mine are 3 or so weeks old now and can tell pretty good they're all roosters :/

No 1yr olds, have a couple six weeks old that we will be ready to sell in a couple or weeks though.

I will be reducing the number of birds I have this year before hatching gets started full swing. Im going to mainly cochins, silkies and call ducks so I will have some of my past show birds of other breeds for sale. All bantams, brahma, plymouth rock, japanese, d'uccles. If anyone wants some of them let me know.
