I completely agree. What is next washing dishes at home or cleaning their rooms?

Had an interesting day today! I fed and watered everyone this morning and doused my meaties with their water because the bottom didn't screw on tight enough

then went to the bank, came home to find my baby cochins in a completely soaked brooder (it was somehow the watering things fault) and had to save those by using a stronger bulb for an hour or 2.

Thankfully I wasn't gone long enough for them to get chilled. Have to butcher the last 3 Cornish today so that I can move the younger ones into that pen. Geez! Would mow the grass but the mower's battery died and has a flat tire.
On a happier note, made my hubby some beer battered tilapia for him to take to work!

Maybe this cooking at home more often will rub off and help me lose some weight (well, doubtful if I keep frying everything!) if not at least I know where it came from! I don't have to worry about some wise crackin' kid spitting on it! I used my own eggs in the batter! Yay! I will be out of hatching eggs soon, the last few eggs in the bator will be put on lock-down Friday, and then I'm egg-less!

Terry....Im sure if we all set up side by side, between me and Daph we can make sure they are watched. Make a sign for them for the breeds and prices and I'll make certain they are ok. I dont even know now if I'll show anyway because of the Dels looking so bad so I'll just be sitting out there. I think all I'm bringing is the Dels and the Reds and maybe a couple the young EE's that I dont care for the color on.

Sure thing. I'll just need to get that cardboard cut out of Terry made before so I don't get lonely.

Sorry to hear about all the issues....makes mine seem like no big deal.

One Del. is damaged from being favorite of two roosters, one has some broken feathers, and the other one that is not damaged; I never thought would show that well. Not sure if I will enter that last one or not. UGHH. May just be selling, but of course they look like crap which means I almost give them away

My orp girls look awful right now. I diligently put saddles on them and all but three have managed to shimmy their big butts out of them. I guess it's hard to design accessories to fit basketball-shaped critters.

You should show your Dels anyway if only to get some objective feedback on them. I'm thinking of bringing a SLW girl just to see what they say.

Thanks. I was pretty happy with it until I came to work and looked at it on a Windows machine. Everything went wonky in Explorer.

, I want at least 2 del hens... where to q them is the problem, if you have them in 3 to 4 weeks, I think maybe I may (crossed fingers..praying hard) be able to talk my husband into using the dog house and fencing it for a q pen. Coming closer to chattanooga soon?

Well, if I had known I could have gotten the 2 hens from bairo, my friend is going towards Chatty this weekend for a bunny meeting, I was invited but plan to go to dollywood instead.
