I have one oddball Lav Orp. He (I think... maybe not) is about 5 weeks old now. What it is... a shipment of Coronations I got had a Lav Orp egg in the mix. He/she is purebred... imported Greenfire stock... just only having ONE won't do.... so he/she is for sale. $10 Now... more if I keep him/her too long.

I also have a HUGE blue Orp roo who I would have to get permission to sell before I say that he is. I know you would be good to him, but still... if you are interested I'll talk her into letting me sell him. Him and the Lav Orp are the ONLY Orps I got. I don't need them, ya know?

i just got today five good looking game poults. also two bantam Cochin chicks, which one looks to be an odd shade of purple... so figured they will amuse me, even if both roos, as guess i can get some good chicks crossing them with my game hens. ???

Just updated blog with chick and hens pictures.

I plan on being at show for meet up. If all goes well. Depends on hubbies time if at home or not. He drives and has to be back thrusday suppose to leave friday but if not, we shall see if i can get him out too.

Planning on going to cocke co show to look but not show.

Still have some point of lay cochin mix pullets for sale. Pretty girls. 1 blue, 1 splash, 3 blacks. Also have a big jersey giant/cochin rooster that is from the same hatch and a matching jersey giant/cochin pullet. POL birds are $8 each or all 5 for 30. Jersey giant?cochin pair is $10.

Can bring to show if someone interested. Pix also available.

I'll be at the show Saturday. I entered a black roo, just to see how I like showing. He's not filled out all of the way, yet, so I'm not expecting much. I just want the experience.

I will also have a ton of chicks with me to sell if I can figure out how to keep them warm. All I am breeding right now are English Orps. They are from Joy (justuschickens59) and Julie (bamachicken). So, if anyone is in the market...

Does anyone think it would be worth it to bring some accidental cockerels I got in my McMurray order? They are three months old. I have two Salmon Faverroles, an EE, and a black Cochin.

tennesseeckn...what I am going to do to keep my silkie chicks warm is us a heater that plugs in the lighter of a car. But..hopefully it is going to be a really beautiful..not overly, warm day! Those of you who are setting up.....this is my first time and I don't know where they set up and really what to expect when I get there...I just know it is suggested to be there early.

I will be bringing Olive Eggers and silkies. I also have 2 Salmon Faverrolle hens for sale. $5 each. But they have naked backs due to what I thought was an overzealous roo. Come to find out it was my alpha hen. She now has her own cage and the only reason she has not gone into deep freeze is she lays a really nice jumbo egg and rarely ever misses a day..but she is a real...well..you know. I could not keep saddles on them. Their bodies must be made a bit different because there is no problem with the other chickens. So...it is going to take them a while to grow some feathers back. I want to thin my flock for hens that will be coming on soon.
