stang: Never herd what the final location was going to be. Is it @ Norris Dam or where.

grawg: sounds yummy, also as far as I have heard we are still doing the item swap

I dunno, tennesseeckn is the Norris girl! I'm just following google directions, and hope to find it, and I'll be darned if it's still an hour drive!

Oh, law. If we are depending on my directions, we are in BIG trouble!

I plan on trying to claim a picnic table above the dam across from the Tea Room.

Here are some crude directions from Knoxville:

Take I-75 North to Exit 122 (Norris / Clinton)
Take a right towards Andersonville
Take the first left past the Museum of Appalachia on Norris Freeway or Hwy 441. There's a brown sign on your right that tells you that you're heading towards Norris Dam.
Go straight through. You'll see the Clinch River and see public restrooms on your left as you approach the dam.
Before you cross the dam you'll see a circle on your right and a road that heads up the hill.
Turn right and drive through the traffic circle.
You'll see the Tea Room on your left. It's a low building perched on the side of the hill overlooking the lake.
Start looking on your right for the chicken contingency.
I'll look for a spot that's closest to the play structure.

I can't remember. What time did we say we were going to meet?

Also, did Bairo say he was going to bring hotdogs?

I'll plan on bringing a dessert and a side dish.

Stang, don't forget to bring a carrier. I'll be bringing your wheatens.

Terry, did Genelda get in touch with you about her eggs?

12 Noon, I'm bringing a dessert and a buffalo chicken dip... sorry the dessert will not be cupcakes! I may also bring paper plates just in case! I think bairo was going to make a bbq or something, don't remember him saying anything about hot dogs...

Thanks so much for the directions Daph. I think we where meeting at 1??
Yes...Contrast contacted me so I am going to take her eggs with me. I am bringing sweet potato casserole and a summer fruit salad. Daphne...I may have to buy a few of your wheaten eggs at some point. Right now NO ONE wants to lay. A man my husband works with said to take my hens...put them in the freezer for 10 minutes and it stimulates them to start hatching...kinda like a short winter. Now that people want to buy eggs...no one wants to lay. Having serious talks with them this weekend.

If I am a bit late don't worry...I know I have construction to go through but I will be there.

We must have been typing at the same time Stang. I have ridden my horses at Norris but I was not driving so I didn't pay attention. OK...will get there as close to 12 as I can. Am making the food in the morning. Where are you Bario????????????
