YOU GOT A EGG!! lol

I'm waiting on my first Sulmtaler egg... I'm jealous

ok...so I wanted to get some better links posted of Rush Lane Poultry. This guy does a really good job explaining several things, but mainly incubation.

His main incubation page is here http://www.rushlanepoultry.com/cooler_incubators_page.htm

His step by step on making a cooler bator starts here and is in 4 parts

I'll post these links on my coop page as well.

Now, when I get my hatching eggs... that'll be hard not to hover over all of them waiting for chicks and more eggs!

Yeah my Olandsk Dwarfs are set and I'm watching like a hawk. So far so good.

BTW, goat note: I don't know what Chester got into but he is kinda out of it today. He won't lift his head when I call him or anything. Obviously he doesn't feel well, but I'm wondering what he got into. Sometimes he snaps out of it, so we'll see if he is ok tomorrow before we call the vet...

When it rains it pours.

I thought about doing this, but I figure by the time I buy everything needed I could have just bought another hovabator. Now, if I could find a HUGE cooler that could hold say 60+ eggs, then I'd be ready to dig in. I can see where a guy would want to dabble with it though... keeps them from having to do housework. I know all about what you guys pull!!

Oh no! I hope he didn't indulge on the chicken feed!

My 2 goats get into the feed. I don't think it really hurts them unless they eat a ton. Atleast that has been my personal experience. BTW what kind of eggs did you order?

dncarr09, were you interested in the golden laced wyandottes? You asked about them so wasn't sure if you were.
