dncarr09, were you interested in the golden laced wyandottes? You asked about them so wasn't sure if you were.
I am but I can't. I already have to many. I am about 15 over the amount I said in my head I wouldn't pass which was 50. Chicken math! If it wasn't for that then for sure yes. I am thinking about selling off a couple of my breeds, but can't decide for sure yet.

Oh my.....272 posts since I was on last time! Ended up with a virus and sinus infection....sure put me on my back. Can anyone tell me when the picnic is? I think it is going to take me a while to catch up on posts. Good to see everyone again!

Sorry...just could not pass that opportunity up!

I know mom and dad are planing on coming to the picnic on Sunday.
Do not know what they are bringing.

Picked up the signs today.

ALL picnic folk keep an eye out for:

Except it is Yellow not white.
I think it looks real good.
Even Terry should be able to find it.

Mated pair of pekins.... I'm on the fence on selling them or not. If someone had a pond and lots of love for them, I might be persuaded. I love them and they listen really good... I put them up at night in a 10x10 dog kennel and they range all day everyday. I also keep calls and the male is breaking over the barrier and raping the calls. Not the biggest problem, but I feel for her. Like I said... I'd have to be persuaded to let them go, but everyone thinks I should. So there... now I tried and I can say that without lying.

I love ducks and wish I could have some but they do not last around here...we can't even keep geese. Snapping turtles and coons...I hate both! I am glad you mentioned in a previous post about the smaller chicks not being able to eat the chick starter...a friend of mine has had a problem raising Japs. They live for a few days and then die..now I have some info that will help her. Thanks

TY AJ....can't promise if I will get to come...depends on how I am feeling. In case I don't make it everyone have fun! And yes....we need pics...someone in charge of that?

Glad to help! Yes, those really tiny breeds just need really tiny food. Sebrights at a day old are fuzzy little quarters (or at least that is what I call them, "fuzzy quarters")
