I am totally into this. No more chicken feathers and poop in the water. What a great idea.
I am going to use wire...that way you don't have to use so much ribbing. Then when it gets cold weather I can either tarp it or put plastic on it. I would probably do the tarp as it would be easier to uncover on days when the weather is nice.
Awwwwggggghhh! Kisses. Totally jealous. (*note to self: after I get Tommy talked into 3 ducks this spring, must get female bunny)Amy, I came home to baby bunnies hopping around the cageI pulled them out and told them how cute they were... I gave one a kiss just for you!
Then I stuck them back in the box, so they'd leave momma alone so she could eat... It was funny I must have woke them up and they started to try to nurse and she was having none of it! LOL![]()
Ok, so do any of my BYC friends like to play Farmville 2? LOLI hate to admit that I got sucked into it and am now addicted... The animals are so realistic (not) you feed them and 5 mins later they're ready to eat again...![]()
Co-op carries a rat/mouse killer called Havoc. I am going to have to use it. I don't like using poisons because of my cats but the man who told me about it said the rats don't have to eat very much. It may make them a little sick. Actually I see my cats catch mice but IF they do eat them it is only the head. They usually end up at my door waiting for me to step out onto them.Welcome back Genelda. Those pics are beautiful, congrats on your anniversary.
I get a little field mouse or two this time of year as well. I think other times of the year the eastern king snakes we get around here take care of them, but I finally had to resort to poison under the shed and in the little divided off area where I keep the feed. I pull it out in February well before the snakes return so I don't poison them as well.
