Thanks everyone for the comments on my Lemon Cuckoo hen (she is about 5-6 months old) here is a pic of my rooster- he is about 8mths old.
We are very proud of him- beautiful colors! Between him being camera shy this morning and the horses trying to get me to take pics of them, this is the best I could do.

Anyone on here have some hatching eggs to sell? I am looking for pure breeds and anything from more rare to common. Would love some australorps, orpingtons, RIR, well.. anything that is a good egg layer. My hens are on strike and I have got to get some eggs going for the Dec 11th hatch.

to all the newest members! I hope everyone had a Blessed Thanksgiving. I'm still getting 1 to 3 eggs daily and only my black orpington has molted, will the stress molt from when they arrived keep them from molting again.

I just read your bio at the bottom. How many chickens do you have?

We have around 150 but, are trying to fine tune them all and get breeding coops built so that we can start selling pure eggs and chicks.

I have been trying to get enough pens for all my breeds.

Right now I have 21 pens, 1 chick house and 2 brooders. ALL FULL.

I need to build about 5 more pens and then start working on the 8 bay grow off pen.

Seems like the more I build the more I need.

Found my incubator. it was delivered the next rd over but they brought it to me yesterday morning. Set it up and put the call duck eggs in it last night. Hope they hatch.

Well, this has me at a loss for words! I put the Orp and SFH into the brooder, they looked fine last night... check on them this morning and the Orp is dead.. SFH still may not make it either with the way it's been acting...

That is so sad! How is the SFH doing?

Chicklet had some orps that died mysteriously, too. Did you all buy from the same breeder?
