Anyone want some Wyandottes? They're totally free and I think there is 9-10 of them, with one being much smaller than the others. I think most are pullets... Mix of Silver Laced, Gold Laced, and Columbian... PM me if you're interested! I think I might have a home for the Australorps, if not they're up on the table too, but there is a 2:1 ratio and cockerels are the 2.
I would really like a regular to have them, that way I know if they raise a breed later on down the road that I want we can work out a deal.. but I'm fine as long as a BYC member gets them.
And before anyone asks, no not getting out of chickens yet, just cutting down to the bare minimum for now until I decide what I want to do. After I lost the money for the eggs and lost the chicks etc. I have been flipping back and forth on whether I want to mess with chickens any more at all. I've also got a bit on my plate looking for a job for my selected field to fulfill my internship so that I can graduate this Spring. I'm concerned the frozen dishes along with taking care of the rabbits every morning is going to be too stressful and I do this without the help of my husband (physically and financially, I get $50 a week to buy everything necessary for all my animals). I'm trying to save up some money and having pens of chickens that only eat and drink and not produce anything is costing me, so I'd like to find homes for the young chickens I have.. I have a lot of money tied up in them, as most people do raising chickens, and offering them free (something I usually don't do) so please someone give them a good home!
Thanks guys!
