Heading to Jonesboro Flea Market on Sunday. Have decided that I need to make some room in my pens. We are taking some Easter Eggers, some Delawares, and lots of chicks that range in age from 2 weeks to 6 weeks old.

The chicks are all straight breed.
Buff Orpingtons
Delewares
Barred Rocks
Easter Eggers
and some of my project birds White Easter Eggers

im wondering why seramas are suddenly popping up at my local flea market, but no one seems to know what they are, even the vendors, and they just want to be rid of them, as think something id wrong with them. forget how ive heard they ended up with them, but odd and funny. seeing a roo as tall as the bare legs if that of standard size roo in same cage.

I was talking to an old farmer who had a couple silkies one day,>Joneaboro flea market< he told me that he had bought an entire lot at auction and they were in with them I would assume that is how many come up with their flocks, then they weed out what they don't want and keep what they do want.

Chicken traders.

Some people don't see anything wrong with what they do, but I personally can't stand them. They take birds off others and turn and sell them... because of that they know next to nothing about the breed OR even sometimes know next to nothing about chickens. They just want a quick buck. Probrably how the seramas got there.

I am another East Tn fan as well. That was a really neat little tractor. We have a group of orps & brahmas, just ordered some buff brahamas be here middle June. currently building a 2nd coop for them. We just got a small group of 6 to start with.We will be keeping the 2 flocks seperate as well. Although our coop is large enough for everyone. We just got past all the lights & heat now here come more. We are very new to raising chickens & decided to start with chicks. So far we have done pretty good we have only lost 1 week old chick.Looking forward to hearing more from the East Tn thread.

mostly see roosters, but once or twice saw a hen or two, and was tempted to get them, though held myself back even for free, as was supposed to get some serama eggs to hatch for someone, so figured why get these too. though i tried to educate a couple of them, the one then just said he would up the price then, and or wait if didnt sell and put seperate till could look up and or sell for alot then. so maybe im not doing the birds any good? i figure they at least might take in house, instead of leaving out in eweather or even barn, and just with all the bigger ones.
