I just discovered that I can't send PM's on my phone. I'm home now and sending you a message on my real computer.

If that doesn't work for you, I quite literally have like NO ROOSTERS. No, I lie...I have 2 leghorn/cochin cockerels who are VERY young. You could have either if you want, but they are quite young like maybe 8-10 weeks? Both white. Feather legged and HUGE combs. See? This pic is almost a month old.

I'd go with the black pair

If that doesn't work out, I can check the TN Valley fair for boys tomorrow when I drop off my chickens. Just lemme know!

As a sidenote, I am selling 4 English Orp pullets at the fair if someone is interested. 3 black and 1 splash. splash is gonna be big.....non hatchery birds. Not quite point of lay but getting there.

I'm also selling a ton of other pullets. 2 barred rock POL pullets (hatchery), lots of blue cochin mix pullets, a few black cochi mix pullets, a buff cochin mix pullet, couple mixed color cochin mix pullets. 1 cochin/leghorn mix pullet. I can't remember what else. There are about 20-30 pullets total (kill me now!). Ooh, one wheaten olive egger pullet! Bearded and beautiful true wheaten (I think). Sire was pure Blue Wheaten Ameraucana, Dam was Wheaten Marans hen. Beautiful and petite.

Hello everyone!! I cannot believe this much time passed since I was here. I hope everyone has endured the heat...it is going to be nice to have some cooler weather..but that is going to lead to rain and maybe snow...I don't know which I dislike most...but then if it is cold I will complain that I want warmer weather. If it is warm I will complain that I want cooler weather. Hey....I am a woman..what more can I say.

Out thread has really grown!
I am so frustrated at this point about the Chick-a-Paloosa I have been planning. I had hoped and prayed to be able to wait until late spring to have my other knee replacement. But...It is looking like I don't have any other option but to have it done either next month or possibly late Dec. after the holidays. I am so upset....I really looked forward to getting everyone together. SO...the only thing at this point is to plan on having it late spring 2012. DH says that will give more time to get the word around. I have gotten some really good ideas from members so...it will happen one way or another!

Things have gone pretty good with my present replacement....still not able to do the things I want to do..but am still learning to be patient.

Is anyone going to the show in Newport in November? Keeping my fingers crossed I will somehow fit it in. I bought a chick there in March which turned out to be a Belgium D'Uccle. I have fallen in love with this little guy! Does anyone here raise them? I have a little chochin/americana bantam girlfriend for him but would love to find some Melle Fluer pullets. I also have a nice pair of Black Rosecombs for sale. PM me if interested.

Well..hopefully now that things are slowing down and therapy is not as lengthy I can keep up with everyone here. Hope to see some of you at the show in Knoxville Monday.

Everyone have a beautiful Sunday!!!

If the judging for chickens is the same for rabbits, everything goes on sale today. They don't allow sales until after saturday night to ensure judging has taken place. I have 2 rabbits for sale at the fair, a magpie harlequin buck and a pointed white mini lop buck (pet only).
