Ok yall. I have 2 free roos. One CAN NOT go to freezer.

One is a Delaware roo that wont make the breeding program, the other is the beautiful black cochin I got from Daph a while back when my laying flock did not have a roo. He is soooo sweet and lovable and he is forbidden from going to freezer camp. I just can not have more than two divisions in my runs/coop now for a good six months when I go to build another totally separate coop. I already have it divided into two plus a rooster jail. I currently have 4 roos in divided in those areas. The Black Cochin is miserable up on the roost all the time and the others are miserable in rooster jail. Ughhh.

PS. Please help

Yes...and he was pretty big, but has recently lost a little due to stying up on thr roost away from the others. I have tried to alternate the ones in jail and it has helped some, but he is my favorite so I want him to be more relaxed. I cant get rid of the others because they are breeding stock. Im between a rock

Thats great. I know daph would approve of you having him as well. So where and when can we meet, LOL
He is very quiet and probably the best roo I have ever seen. Girls love him because he is not rough at all.
