Last check of the night revealed three babies, but oops...I must have accidentally set one RIR egg under her!

Thanks! Fortunately the other hatched shortly after my post, and after venturing off to TSC and coming home with 7 Cornish Broilers, I found the other had made no progress so intervened. All I did was break the shell more and pulled some of the stuck membrane off and put him back in, he took a few minutes but he pushed out and the shell was stuck to him so pulled that off after he was out. He had some blood on him but seems to be fine now. I turned the bator off and have the 2 in a separate brooder from the other chicks.

Stang...this has happened to me several times. I do like you did and crack the top off and pull some of the outer membrane to the side.(the inner membrane had the blood veins in it and will bleed easily) Then I take a small cloth like T shirt material...wet it real good...double it and lay on top of the chick. Keeps the membrane from drying out. Be careful of tearing the inside membrane. When the yolk has been absorbed the blood draws back into the chick. Also if you have a fan on the incubator I would turn it off if possible. Good luck on your future hatches!! So far out of around 35 eggs I have lost 4. 2 just stopped dev. about 10 days in and the other had a blood ring..the other just did not hatch. I hate doing test eggs!!! But..if you are going to sell them you have to make sure the roo is doing his job!

If we want a Saturday, then it sounds like the 31st might be the best. Ill call you tomorrow. Before we say that is it and it aint bein changed LOL

Yep...I agree..the 31st looks like it will work for everyone. I will call tomorrow and see if I can reserve the bottom pavilion. There are others at one of the ball parks but it is pretty full with Mexican soccer and spectators are not easily removed no matter what you try to tell them. We had a family reunion and I paid to reserve one there. What a mess. It was full and I kept explaining they had to move. Finally park officials came....they ended up calling the police to get them out. Really put a damper on our reunion as they eventually started moving back in. So...with that said Panther Creek should be good. There is also another place I will check on 92. In case we can't get the PC pavilion. With it being the only one it feels up really quick. As you go up the mountain there are picnic areas there too we can use and don't have to reserve. Has a nice view of the lake but there is no cover. So...let me see what I can get tomorrow and I will let you all know!

The 31st would be good for me.

I just checked my work schedule and I am off that weekend.

My wife and I would be glad to come and meet everybody.

The 31st sounds perfect! I know no chicken, but do we have any vegans or people with allergies or other foods that should be avoided? I'm a cook at a privately owned restaurant and the owner is a 74 year old gourmet cook, I have access to all kinds of goodies and a huge kitchen. Doesn't have to be fancy, I make some insanely good pizza too. I love cooking... and eating too :drool
