i know a local woman who breeds meat rabbits, and some show ones too i think.

a fellow who breeds shows, and sells (only recently, and at good deals supposedly says others, though i know not to much about alpacas, except to tell that healthy, fluffy, and havent spit at or bitten me yet. lol), alpacas as well.. he wont take to flea market to sell etc even though, as wouldnt want them to get sick, or be thought just getting rid of yard pets, i think.

Hmmm I would probably let him go for $10 obo. I wish I could have gotten a hen his color shew---he's pretty. I have a bunch more NN of the same age, but I will mostly be trying to part with the roos for now until I can determine any faults.

When and where is the TSC swap again? I've wanted to go but keep forgetting to grab the info. Now I have expanded the run to enormous size....*whistles*

I would love to have this rooster. How much are you asking? Of course I have to double check with DH to make sure. We are going to TSC swap this month looking for some show girl eggs.

Put me on your waiting list for a female mini rex! I looked for one last spring, but couldn't find one. They are my favorite breed to use for photographing with kids. What color are they?

Had a great trip! Was a great show! My Jr broken doe got Best of Variety in 2 shows and my solid Jr buck got Best of Breed for the last show! I got lots of bunnies! Hehe, left with 2 and came back with 5 and may get a 6th one, and bought some stuff. I got 2 mini rex, they're so cute and of great quality (the doe got 2nd and 3rd places as a junior, not sure about the other shows though) and I was given an unshowable baby creme d'argent buck (mom ripped its ear off in birth). I also got another baby mini lop doe.

Bairo, let me know when you're ready to get into meat rabbits.

i was at the Dalton bunny show too. My blue sr Lionhead doe got Best of Breed in show A and my other pt white sr doe got best opposite sex of breed in show C. I brought home 2 new blue eyed white does, along with a killer new himi dwarf doe.

HEHE! Ok, yeah I got the pair from a couple and the guy is running for ARBA president (Josh Humphries, he's near Chattanooga). I got the doe for $75 and the buck for $50 because I talked her down. They're 5 months old and am waiting to recieve the pedigrees, the doe was a one he didn't want to part with. My friend recommended him to me and had to keep bothering him for me, so I think that's why he sold her to me, because he told his gf to not sale her if I changed my mind! He wanted to sale me a blue doe but chose to give me a great pair to start with and chose her instead. The doe is broken black and the buck is solid black, with no stray white hairs. They're really cute and tiny!

I didn't see you!

Where'd you set up at? Did you stay at any of the hotels? We stayed at Days Inn and what a horrible stay for the first night! We got awoken by a high school basketball team all of whom had no sense of how loud yelling was with thin walls. We called management 2x but didn't work too well, and then that night our AC went out! I wish I was going to the NC show but gonna go to Conyers and hope to grand my broken doe out since she was killing the competition!

I kept beating Seniors with my Juniors!

My Jr doe took first place in 4 shows against one doe, only one judge liked the other doe over mine, I won BOV in Show C on Saturday and then won BOV in one of the shows on Sunday and BOB with my buck on the same judging. I had a lot of fun and got lots of love over my JRs.

Ha, I just drove down and back up Saturday since we weren't showing Sunday. I know Josh....and we were set up right next to his gf, I think. You can't miss the crazy lionhead people lol. We were pretty much over near the door. The people we were with had dwarfs and lionheads.

I will be at Conyers with some killer little smoke pearl dwarf babies (to show, not sell) and some lionheads.
