Well I have had my incubator running too. I have 9 new babies (which pales in comparison to 135).

4 Isbars and 5 English Orps. Just wanted to share the photos.
The kids and I are planning on coming on Sunday too! (May also bring another friend with me since DH is working.) Looking forward to meet you all! Not sure what I am going to bring yet since I am not to good in the kitchen.
How many young kids are coming? I might bring stuff for and egg hunt (thought that might be fun.) I also plan on bring my camera for the group photo!
Trust me I would have much rather had a much smaller hatch.

I told dad that this would be the VERY VERY LAST time we would EVER try for a hatch this large.

Love your babies, just not sure which ones I like better.

Egg hunts are fun, seems like I have them every day, the girls seem to get a kick out of hiding them from me (actually I think I have several wanting to go b..... whoops almost said the bad word).

Good Morning everyone!
OK.....I called yesterday to confirm our reservation....glad I did..because the woman I made it with did not tell me they charged a $50 fee!

Kinda upset me...but the woman I spoke with yesterday said the 1st is the first day that they start charging and no one had reserved either one. She said they usually don't have anyone requesting them this early. So...we can go ahead and use either one free of charge. The one at the top of the mountain has a beautiful view of the lake. They won't let me put a small sigh up so I will figure something out to let everyone know which one we are using...maybe a balloon?. There are several places we can use..I hope we get a good turn out.
So...if not at the first pavilion just drive on up where another one is and a lot of picnic areas. I had thought about those who may be bringing pets and children....the other areas on up are a little more secluded and much less traffic so a bit safer. It may work better for us if it's open. I will be driving a red bronco. I really look forward to meeting those who attend. It will be great to put faces with names. Everyone have a wonderful day!!
Thank so much ajacskr for posting such precise directions! Good to see your back with us.

Do you think they would notice eggs lying beside the road every 50 or 75 feet.

TNbarnqueen - I'm sure you'll figure something out! balloons may work if you don't tie them to something, get a few and have them weighted down and make sure they're easy to see!
Count 2 for my party, I'm either bringing my husband or my friend. I havn't decided what I'm bringing, dunno if I can find something that will last for an almost 2 hour ride and then sit out for however long we stay.

I will look around though, may have to make a dessert instead of food. Oh, and if you have 3 of those 2 1/2 month olds go ahead and bring the 3.

bairo - talked to Nella briefly, sounds like I will be getting your cages this evening

the little buck is getting big! he's still so stinkin' cute! What kind of hotdogs are you bringing? I'm thinking I may bring my angus bun lengths since those are my favorite!

Can't wait to see everyone!

TNBarnQueen

Is someone bring plates, forks and napkins?

If you need help with those just let me know.

And also yes it is good to be back on here with old friends and some new ones also.

Hey all!

It's been a while since I posted. My job has moved me to a office in Wartburg. So I have not had time to see whats going on here. I do hate that I will not be at the get together on Sunday. I hope everyone has a great time!! Maybe I can make it to the next one! But we did postpone our Farmer for a Day event till fall. So I'm back on for the Chicken Show in Cocke county in May!

My son is super excited to see them hatch. The bad thing is. He thinks we are going to keep them all.
