I am going to try to come. I have 20+ Swedish Flower Hen chicks set to hatch next week and I really shouldn't keep them all. (Do you think they will sell?) BUT I have two weddings to photograph that day, so I will have to leave by 11am.

Yummy Breakfast burritos!!

Your being awfully quiet....your coming also aren't you?

Here is that forum if anyone wants to check in. XchickieX started it and has really done a good job with all the info

It's really hard to say how they will do. Many still dont know that much about them, but people do love something interesting. I would make up a little information sheet on them and make a few dozen copies to pass them out. A lot of good breeders will be there from different areas. I dont mind if you need to leave a few with me and Terry's birds. Since I live so close I can take them with me when I leave and we can meet later on to get any left or the funds back to you.

my little broilers & Australorps have arrived about to go get them settled in the brooder.

Daph..

Dont stress trying to get a certain # of eggs for me, no big deal. Terry is doing all the work for me anyway right now. I'm waiting to get my incubator going about the first of July when I have a better handle on who is laying what. Going to work on hybrids for a while I think. Going for feather pattern/color, egg color, and hardiness. At least until I win that coop contest for a place to keep a separate set of breeders, LOL

Hi, I'm in the east Tennessee area aswell. I was just wondering if anyone in this area has any American Game Bantams, Cubalaya Bantams or some real Ameraucanas? Also, does anyone know if there are any poultry shows here in Tennessee that don't fall on saturdays? thanks

Welcome to our little part of the world. There are probably several who either have or can point you to what you are looking for!

Finally talked to Ruth today (nothing like waiting till the last few days lol) I just registered for 2 of the Dels. One with lousy feathers and one with so/so conformation. It's probably going to be a race to the bottom

Oh..and snapped a few more pics today...getting ready to put them on my coop page album.
@stang....a couple rabbit ones as well, but lighting in the shed sucked and I could not get a good position but I'll post them anyway

I sold out of Orp chicks at the last show and got a lot of orders for more. I think it helped that I brought Roo to show. His size generated some interest. I bet if you brought an adult to show people would snap the chicks right up. They're so pretty.
