Hi, I'm in the east Tennessee area aswell. I was just wondering if anyone in this area has any American Game Bantams, Cubalaya Bantams or some real Ameraucanas? Also, does anyone know if there are any poultry shows here in Tennessee that don't fall on saturdays? thanks

I have wheaten ameraucanas but they don't understand that they aren't supposed to be overly broody, so I'm only getting an egg or two a day. If you want, I can let you know when they start laying pretty regularly again.

I sold out of Orp chicks at the last show and got a lot of orders for more. I think it helped that I brought Roo to show. His size generated some interest. I bet if you brought an adult to show people would snap the chicks right up. They're so pretty.

Well that swap meet at Jonesborough today was a bust.

I stopped by and there were no chickens.

Rabbits, goats, dogs, and pot bellied pigs, but no avians.

50$ for a 10 week old pot bellied porker?

Maybe the next one will be better.

I think it is a good idea to bring a larger SFH and prints some photos. I love this breed!

Hey, I'm thinking of selling my BLRW roosters at the show, anyone mind if I set a small cage up next to someone setting up early? I will probably try to leave a bit earlier since it's such a long drive and would like these roosters gone to make room for the rest of the chicks I have growing up.

One broody's already hatched the ONE egg I let her keep and the other two are getting foster babies from the incubator when they hatch this week, so hopefully soon.

Now that Nella has moved mainly to rabbits.....the broody spirit needed someplace to go. Just keep it west of Newport.
