This is where I buy Oxine They actually went down from last year. 32.00 per gallon with shipping. Thats 8.00 per quart plus the cost of some cheap quart bottles or mason jars or whatever I can find, LOL
Okay, so just to be clear before I order.
You use the straight oxine in water, but if wanting to use as spray disinfectant you need to get the citric acid? or do I have this all wrong, duh me!

Rodney, if you could just find like a $1 bottle to put it in I'll probably have something to keep it in here... so don't get anything extravagent.

....using acid is usually for commercial growers. It is not safe to use on chickens. You can fog your hen house with it but you have to keep everyone out and it is unsafe to inhale. So...just diluted Oxine to disinfect. Sometimes I use a humidifier but I have with the fan running I just put the spray bottle in front of it and spray...it sends a mist over all the hen house. Also weekly I spray all cages and give the chickens a squirt in the face with a more diluted solution. If you have a chicken sneezing or runny nose it is great to spray them in the face every day for a few days..it fights bacterial infection so good on head colds. There are sooooo many uses. I think Bario has all of them on his page.

Hey, are there any large two or three-day regional shows that any of you guys on here attend? I've been trying to locate one.

Thanks,
Yes! Bario has a thread for shows. There is one in Knoxville in Oct. and a big one in Newport in November. I know the Newport show had right at 800 birds in the shows and there is always a good turnout of vendors. But...both, I believe, are one day shows. You don't know how we wish we could bigger shows like regional shows around here...but for now we can only wish. Hope this helps. I think you can go to Bario's homepage and the thread for the shows is on it.
