OK! Phew... I'm pooped!! What a day! You would think riding in the back seat of a car wouldn't be exhausting, but it is.
Here is some shots I took before the hens went to bed. I promised them....
First we have my Wyandotte who is by far the worst. My father told me to put her down she was ate so bad. From halfway back to her vent was GONE, just bone exposed. Here is what she looks like now and she is 3 years old, for the record. She was ate up when she was about 3 months old by that (#(*#@)#*@ of a clutch mate that came with her in the mail. I had ordered the layer special so they were all different... the bad one was a Ancona, incase you are curious.

Then her next to a Marans hen, for size reference... a Wyandotte should be bigger and more round than a Marans... this one's growth was stunted.

And one of the other much better off victims, a partridge cochin... her tail (the meat, now, not just feathers) was eatten off half way... this is her tail as it always looks... the Turken is coming out of a moult. But the Cochin's tail is deformed now.

You can also see one of my Australorps there on the right. Look at Lurken the Turken... she is so funny anyways and now she looks like a buzz cut chicken. lol. I love that girl. She is about 4 years old now and lays the BIGGEST eggs for a hen her size. Feel so sorry for her. "Lurkey the Turkey" is what I call her. Sorry... Just love my laying flock... it's where I can stick culls and keepers. They all have the saddest stories and the best personalities.
