I actually stopped eating chicken.
I am not a big chicken eater either. I doubt we have chicken more than 3 times a month. Now we can throw down on some moos & oinks!

But I'm with you....I can go to town on some beef.
I hope at least 15. I left a message and got one back from Terry and she is still sick, its really sticking with her. She sounded awful. It looks like we will be back in town Sunday AM and we have both kids this weekend, so we will be 4. I think AJ will be 4 as well if he brings everybody. Stang might be two or three I think (are you bringing your hubby-friend-or both, Hannah) I have not heard from Contrast in a while. You and your DH (sorry do not know if you have little ones as well) itsthelaw and her hubby I think???Okay i am getting antsy. How many do we have coming to the picnic? I can also either make potato salad or bring chips? Will we need condiments? I am cooking & shopping tomorrow.
If anyone is interested in this boy my friend has 2 beautiful blue marans laying hens that would go well with this handsome boy. She is asking $15 each for the hens.If anyone is interested shoot me a PMI hope I am not intruding or posting in the wrong spot. I don't post often. We have a Black Copper Maran Rooster that we need to re-home. Oreo was born on May 6th, hatched from an egg from the Garry Farm, http://thegarryfarm.yolasite.com/, by one of our broodies. Unfortunately, we also had a Welsummer Rooster hatch about the same time. The two grew up together and were best buds for a long time. While they still don’t fight, Lurch, the Welsummer, has become dominant and has no interest in sharing his girls. Oreo is not happy and is making the others unhappy too. We had hoped to keep them both but, it’s not working out. He is a sweet, handsome boy and deserves a chance to have a flock of his own. We are asking $15.00, mostly to dissuade anyone who just wants a chicken for the stew pot. We live in Strawberry Plains and would happy to answer any questions you have about him or our flock of 15. It has been disease free for 3 ½ years. Give us a call at 865-933-1308 if you have an interest.
