BTW... the chicken nipple thing... easiest project ever!!! I'm out of plumbing tape for now. I used it all. That is what I get for using what I got... a used roll doesn't quite have enough. LOL

But I got two done and started the third. So easy... why doesn't everyone do this?

LMAO... oh ok. But Rodney is a 2+ hour drive from me... and I used old waterers (which I literally have 80 or so of) and BAM! I got a new waterer for about $.75

Plus I like drilling. lol

I am with you: old bucket & $.75 can't beat that. As for recycling I could very easily be the next Sanford & Son if I didn't keep it beat down some. I love nothing more than going to a salvage yard, thrift store or anything similar. I swear I could drag crap home by the truck load if I had money & a place to put it. I tried to get dh to let me drag home an old cast iron bathtub out of the cow pasture (he bucked up on me).

LOL... I don't buy old stuff... but I sure do keep it! And I'm glad I kept all these waterer tops. Anytime a bottom would be broke, I'd keep the top and buy a whole new waterer. This year, I won't have the problem of frozen and split bottoms.

I ordered more nipples already they worked so well... I'll probably have more than enough, but I will make some waterers for a few friends for Christmas.
