Here is a picture of my 2 nuggets.
Take note of the AA battery standing beside them.
The one in front is 4 days old.
The one in the back is 3 days old.

Just think 4 more and I can have a 6 piece just like McDonalds.

What are they? I got two bantam babies that look just about exactly the same.

Rod...are any of your hens you are selling olive eggers? There is a place in Dandridge that I have always used..Adam is a great guy and will do house calls. He is pretty reasonable. I will get you his number.
yea. one. That black cochin cross that is close to 2 years old now. But laying an xl olive egg 4-5 days a week in season and 3-days a week in winter. Contrast's friend I thought wanted her, but after a few failed attempts on the schedule I think he gave up. She was my first OE.

in reference to incubating.... We have little giant incubators (saving up for sportsman) and I am on day 1 of lockdown and (I have had this problem before) the water has a film over it and it makes the humidity lower than it should be- Im sure the water cannot evaporate into the air like it should. Any suggestions?
I have not caught up yet, so it may have been answered? Reference my coop page at the bottom under Oxine

So, decided I will not be going to the Newport show... Just not worth the 1+ hours of driving to get out there, just to stay for a little while and then turn around to trek back... It's just a lot of gas and I'm trying to watch our spending. If I had plans to buy/sell something I sent a PM to those peeps already, just letting everyone else know.. That and my husband made plans that I'd prefer to be part of, not saying I don't want to hang out with my chicken peeps, but I enjoy the little time we have together.

A friend of mine will be coming to the show.....well you know him...Mr. Ellis is wanting one after seeing my olive eggs. I will call him tomorrow and see if he is interested and let you know. Thanks!

he saw her last time he was here and i sold him two that are POL. I'm noy sure he liked her

Hey I am lost, my friend Denise is looking for an OE, and I am not sure who "he" is. I know I sent a few people other ways before but they where just people I met on here etc... Not my "friend". I am sorry if things didn't work out.

By the way, everyone in my family was up last night sick, sure hope I don't get it! Still planning on coming tomorrow.

OK.....sometimes he is picky about color and come to think about it....he and I where talking about black chickens cause I don't really like them unless they are something special...I think he is the same way. I know he loves the blue wheaten roo he got from you. I think mine is coming around. He is night biting me as much.

He is in his new pen with his 2 girls now. Got a surprise from a breeder...he messaged me and is sending me a dozen ameracauna eggs in the spring. My lav. and Terry''s came from him.
I think I am going to coop the ones I am showing tonight so I may swing by with your cage in case you need it to transport chickens to the show. If it is not too late I may bring my son and go ahead and set up the tent frame at our sight.

@Daphne...wish you could come. Sure gonna miss you not being there next to me.

See everyone there are the show!!!

I just spoke to Ruth Murchison and she ask that I post this info on the Newport Show tomorrow. In case anyone was bringing chickens to show and have not pre-registered, they will have to be turned away due to every available space being filled. There are over 900 chickens registered to show this time. That is A LOT of chickens. There are over 450 game birds alone so they have called in an extra judge who will be doing the game bird judging only.

I will have a tent set up if we need to use that as a reference point to meet everyone. Those of you who are showing...she suggested cooping tonight as it will be total chaos in the morning. See everyone tomorrow!!
