WOW! That's a lot of weight loss in a month. Good for you! Bet EVERYONE notices too!
Well no not really, I have a lot to loose. Im noticing it in my clothes though; my pants are really loose....but then I colored my hair and it only took DH 6 months to notice it. We have been married for 38 years I guess we don't really look at each other that closely anymore.
I was diagnosed diabetic with high blood pressure...the doctor told me if I didnt loose weight I would be on insulin in a year and this extra weight was going to cut my life short.
Ive always had a weight problem but now its starting to affect my health so Im going to take if off. Ive never done very well with diets so I just decided that I wasnt going to go on a diet I was going to change my eating habits by replacing the bad for me food with good for me food.
I figured it took me 20 years to put it on so what the heck if it took 20 years to take it off. I just didnt realize how big a difference just cutting the junk food out of my diet was going to make.
It takes longer to gain weight then it does to lose it. So, you might have gained that 100 extra pounds in 20 years, but in less then 2 years you will shed it....if you change your lifestyle anyways. Still, I think that's great. And boy do i know about the diabetes that are caused by being overweight. That's how all my mamaws problems came about at the young age of 60. Unfortunately she had to go on insulin, and then got a bit sick and they couldn't perform the surgery she needed because of the diabetes. Just take care, oh and get ya some good cardiovascular in. Just leg or arm flutters while sitting at a desk or watching TV does wonders. And again, good job!
Keep it up!
