I need some advice, for the three days when I have gone to collect my eggs,I have found an egg eaten. I know I have mice around the coupe could it be the mice or a hen eating the eggs? It is very frustrating to find this. Thank you

You can blow the contents out of an egg and fill the shell with mustard. This always works for me - I guess chickens just don't like mustard.

Edit: Having a hamster the size of a mouse, I don't think a mouse could manage that. It's most likely a chicken.

The mustard idea is awesome I have 3 hens I have busted eating eggs and have them isolated to there owne pen I will give this a try as they eat most all there eggs. If this doesn’t work there will be a large pot of noodles in my future. Also I have set a few eggs aside on a shelf that were found in a corner and didn’t know how long they had been there and mice ate them, chewing into them eating most of the insides.
