Yall made me hungry lol! Ive ate peacock.Yummy. Ive ate everything yall talked about and love it all. I dont like my mudbugs too spicy though.Ive been to some boils where they were so hot it ruined em

Crawdads always struck me as a lot of work for a little bit of meat. I have a theory about how eating them came about;

One old Cajun to another, "HAW! Dem silly city folk tink we like dem crawdads. We jus' wen' fishin' one day an' din' catch nutting, an had to eat da bait."

I figure it's all just a mental block. I love my horses, yet have no problem with folks who want to eat horse. The same goes with dogs and cats. Just don't steal them from somebody who loves their pets. Squirrel? I've eaten it, just preferred them to be shot with a .22 or something, hate pulling the shot out of my dinner, and probably ate more lead that way than I really care to know about... Should I mention, though, that a squirrel is a fuzzy tailed rat? Might as well eat rats and mice, too! But I won't, because there is that blasted mental block again.
